We are seeking a SENIOR MANAGER: IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE to lead enterprise-wide delivery across SAP, Infrastructure, and Software Development portfolios. This is a mission-critical appointment at a time of significant transformation, demanding depth of experience, pace of execution, and executive-level stakeholder credibility. 

What This Role Is Really About

This is not a reporting PMO.
It is a delivery-led, commercially astute, enterprise PMO leadership role with direct influence on strategy execution, capital investment, and business continuity. 

Key Areas of Impact:

  • Lead and mature the IT PMO as a trusted delivery partner to Executives
  • Own governance, standards, and assurance across complex IT programmes
  • Drive prioritisation, sequencing, and capacity planning across SAP, Infrastructure, and Application landscapes
  • Translate strategy into executable, measurable delivery outcomes
  • Manage financial oversight, risk, and benefits realisation at the portfolio level
  • Build and lead a high-performing PMO team (Project Managers & Coordinators) 

Key Accountabilities

  • Define and execute the PMO strategy aligned to ITSS and enterprise priorities
  • Act as a senior advisor to business and IT leadership on delivery feasibility, risk, and trade-offs
  • Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles across multiple methodologies (PMBOK / Agile / Hybrid)
  • Ensure disciplined financial management, forecasting, and executive reporting
  • Continuously improve PMO governance, tools, and delivery maturity
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across IT, Shared Services, and Business Units

You are an experienced IT delivery leader who:

  • Has led complex, multi-stream IT programmes at enterprise scale
  • Is equally comfortable in boardroom conversations and delivering details
  • Brings structure, clarity, and momentum to fast-moving environments
  • Has successfully run a PMO that delivers outcomes, not just compliance

Experience that set you up for success:
Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years IT project delivery experience across SAP, Infrastructure, or Software Development
  • 5+ years leading a Project Management Office
  • Proven delivery across multiple full project lifecycles 

Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:

  • Diploma or Degree in Project Management
  • PMBOK and/or Agile certification
  • PMP / ACP and MBA – strong advantage
